Derek Sheffield

Derek Sheffield is the poetry editor of Terrain.org. His poems have appeared in the Southern Review, Poetry, the Georgia Review, and several anthologies. He is the recipient of the James Hearst Poetry Prize and fellowships from Artist Trust and the Sustainable Arts Foundation. He is the author of the poetry collections A Mouthpiece of Thumbs, A Revised Account of the West, and Through the Second Skin. He lives in central Washington.
