An evening with beloved poet Gary Snyder, in conversation with South African writer and scholar Julia Martin, followed by a poetry reading and book signing. The evening is based on their new Trinity University Press book Nobody Home: Writing, Buddhism, and Living in Places, a collection of interviews and letters between the two spanning three decades discussing everything from ecological and gender politics, to issues of community, bioregion, and place, to Snyder's priorities for writing and core musings like suffering, old age, sickness, and death. Free and open to the public. March 4 at 7:30 pm at the Great Hall on the Trinity University Campus in San Antonio. Read more.
