Yvette D. Benavides

Yvette D. Benavides is a professor of English and creative writing at Our Lady of the Lake University. She is an associate editor of TPR News and TPR Noticias and the host of the Book Public podcast, as well as a founding member of the advisory council of the San Antonio Book Festival. She is the coauthor of San Antonio 365: On This Day in History, the coeditor of Los Muertos: Day of the Dead Fiction, and her essays and stories have been published widely. She lives in San Antonio, Texas.
