Miraflores Symposium

Aureliano Urrutia, a prominent physician in Mexico City built Miraflores garden in San Antonio, Texas after immigrating to Texas during the Mexican Revolution. Trinity University Press and Trinity University, in conjunction with Anne Elise Urrutia, the great-granddaughter of  Urrutia, Kathryn O’Rourke, associate professor of art history at Trinity, will host a symposium celebrating 100 years of Miraflores’s architectural and cultural legacy on Saturday, September 18, at the Ruth Taylor Recital Hall on the Trinity campus.
